This luxurious natural pigment gloss is absolutely beautiful. Carmine is a natural dye which is made from the dried bodies of a female insect called the Cochineal (Coccus Cacti). Carnmine has been used for centuries to color textiles and cosmetics. It is the best alternative I have found for replacing red dyes, however it is not vegan.
